  transnational activity

The Transnational phase is aimed at comparing methodologies and practices on matter of continuous training and lifelong learning and insertion/maintenance to job of disadvantaged subjects among E.U. countries, newly entered and E.U. incoming countries.

"The Knowledge based Coast" has established two Transnational Cooperation Agreements (TCA):
  • "Coast Regada" with Spain, Hungary and with Romania as associated partner (plus Slovakia, Serbia - Montenegro, Ukraine as Carpathian Basin that will participate to some workgroups activities), to activate a comparison on labour market and on social policies in various Europe countries, for a special focus on the EU future, outlining useful procedures and practices on transnational relationship management, lifelong learning, adaptability, continuous training and learning for disadvantaged workers
  • "Motivation 2 Employment" with Czech Republic, Great Britain, France and Hungary, focused on knowledge and information sharing, on the measures to strengthen work excluded subjects by lifelong learning, training opportunities and building of skills and competencies in order to achieve and support the work.
The presence in the partnership of subjects with well-established experiences in lifelong learning and of members of the new EU countries (who have important not standard experiences of skills transmission from elderly to young workers) allows to ensure the maximum effectiveness in the exchange of experiences, practices and approach about continuous training and lifelong learning. Activities are synthetically referable to three main areas:
  • study and research: comparative analysis of the experiences of the involved countries, participation to transnational study groups, final exchanges of experts, staff and beneficiaries

  • training: for referents and project staff, with production of a guide/transnational working tool, glossary

  • dissemination and information: organization of meetings, workshops and conferences.
The transnational working team collects information about partners experiences and arranges the material related the Tuscany experience and to the project development. To allow the comparison of the European level experience benchmarks defined at EU level will be used. Study and thorough analysis meetings, participations to training initiatives, international conferences on the main arguments dealt by the single national projects will be held during the periodic transnational meetings. Furthermore, through the transnational project area, a joined training for the technical project referents, concerning methods and management procedures, is realized. This activity is aimed at producing a practical guide for transnational activities projects referents which will contribute to define a common language to face and solve the most frequent problems raising during the realization of projects in partnership.
